The passion for working out sparked my interest in making personal training, my career. I knew that this profession required years of learning and experience before I could successfully help others. Every person has different goals, fitness levels, aches, pains, and lifestyles.

By educating myself and gaining the Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification and Nutrition Coach Certification, I was on the path to helping a larger audience gain their confidence back and get back on track with their health goals.

I would have multiple clients that would have some ache or pain just from normal day-to-day activities. For example, people can have pain with certain exercises, and they decide to either avoid it altogether, or keep doing it until it gets worse thus resulting in surgery.

Taylor Newland, Personal Trainer

My goal, as a Corrective Exercise Specialist is to change that mindset and get people to realize that with a little work and a few tweaks to their routine, they can get back to the exercises they enjoy, pain free.

Since learning how to do corrective exercise, and implementing it with my clients, I have a better understanding of how and why the body moves the way it does.

My goal is to dive a little deeper to figure out what is causing issues that can throw you off track, whether it is a muscle imbalance, tightness, or an unstable muscle.

From there, we can figure out what type of exercises we need to start doing to move and feel better.

A few years later into my personal training career, I felt confident in my exercise programming to help clients achieve goals and stay pain free. But as we all know, exercise is only a small piece of being healthy.

If we are eating junk food or eating inconsistently, we will never get the results that we want. This led me to pursue my certification in Fitness Nutrition.

For the past 3 years, I have been helping clients understand what a healthy and consistent diet should look like.

My goal isn’t to tell someone what to eat, but to educate them on how to structure their diet based on what their goals are.

Many of us “know what to eat”, but most of us fail to do it.

I dive in with clients to find strategies to make things easier and realistic for their lifestyle. Whether you are a busy parent with kids at home, a business owner, or you just don’t enjoy cooking, there are ways we can make things easy and efficient for you!
