Performance Health and Fitness Voted a Neighborhood Fave in Nextdoor’s 2023 Local Business Awards

CORALVILLE, IA, JULY 18, 2023— Performance Health and Fitness has been named to the winning list of Nextdoor’s 2023 Neighborhood Faves, the only annual awards where neighbors vote to celebrate their favorite local businesses. This year, Neighborhood Fave winners like Performance Health and Fitness will receive greater visibility and ranking on the Nextdoor app as well as a sticker to showcase their win in the real world.

“Neighbors know best, and Nextdoor’s Neighborhood Faves are the only annual awards celebrating the businesses that are most loved by locals. This prestigious recognition is only awarded to 1% of the local businesses on Nextdoor and is a testament to the positive impact they have had on their community,” said Nextdoor CEO Sarah Friar.

Used by one in three households in the US, Nextdoor is the neighborhood network where verified neighbors and businesses connect to the neighborhoods that matter to them.

The complete list of winning businesses in each city is available at nextdoor.com/favorites. Join the neighborhood network by downloading the Nextdoor app or visiting nextdoor.com.

Kari Kempf is a client that has seen tremendous success these past few months – on the scale and with non-scale victories. Despite the pandemic, she made a commitment to herself and her wellness goals and found a way to prioritize her health and daily habits. She considered that what she’s done in the past on her own wasn’t sustainable, and reached out to Performance Health & Fitness for help. She has been working with personal trainer, Jenny Vens, and registered dietitian, Ashley Pearson. In addition, she has been utilizing the additional services that come with membership (TEAM Training classes as part of her personal training membership and the InBody 270 body composition scale).

Kari has been an inspiration to us all – a client that shares her goals and personal struggles, trusts our expertise, dismisses cultural misconceptions about wellness, and implements what she learns from Performance in her day-to-day life.

This is her inspiring story.
