At Performance Health & Fitness, all members (including trial members) receive our complimentary Smart Start Program. The program is designed to provide our new members with the tools to get a great start on making lasting lifestyle changes, and consists of 4 sessions with our certified fitness and health experts.
Some participants finish the program thinking… ok I think I got this. The trainer I worked with gave me some great information to sort out all of the health and wellness information I’ve learned on Google, showed me what I needed to work on, and told me what I need to do in order to achieve my goals.
They leave us feeling motivated, inspired and educated enough that they want to try to do this on their own, which is AWESOME!

We have three health coaches on staff here at Performance and our goal during our meetings is to help you set small goals that lead to the bigger picture or your long term goals. We are here to hold you accountable to your small goals and we are an ear to listen for you to make sure that you are doing what you need to do in order to be successful.
By completing small steps one at a time it increases your chances of achieving the overall goal tremendously.
When we take a step back and enjoy the process to let the results come later it’s less overwhelming because we are doing one thing at a time rather than multiple at the same time. Think of us as an accountability coach 🙂
What can you expect during a health/lifestyle coaching session with one of us?
There is so much more that goes into achieving overall wellness than just physical health. Wellness components include Stress Maintenance, Healthy Sleep Patterns, Physical Activity, Nutritional Health, Financial Health, Social Health, Psychological Health and Emotional Health.
If any of you are having a hard time achieving overall wellness there is a good chance that one of these could be throwing you off balance. During your initial health coaching consultation we will ask you questions to see what your overall lifestyle looks like then help you to create small goals to turn those unhealthy habits into healthy habits.
As your guides we are able to give you basic nutrition information, a comprehensive workout plan, do regular body composition measurements and consult you through your fitness journey. This way you have someone to hold you accountable through the process and be your motivation to keep going.
Sometimes changing your habits can be difficult, but when you have a health coach, you increase your success rate for being able to live a healthier, higher quality life.
