Exercise is like a roller coaster.  It has ups, downs, twists, turns, starts, and stops.  I have 5 ways that I know will work to keep you committed to exercise and health.     

  1. Just move exercise can be anything where you are moving.  It does not have to be formal, organized, or done in one setting.
  2. Get together with a friend exercising alongside someone increases motivation, willingness, and effort levels by 50%.
  3. Be realistic set yourself up for success.  Make your goals small and attainable.  Give yourself 15 mins of exercise time.
  4. Consume nutrient-dense food these give you more energy and your body will feel more able to move.
  5. Ask for help if you find yourself lacking in knowledge, accountability, motivation, or you want a new program.  Find a qualified professional to help you move forward.
