Wellness Workshop: Strengthen Your Game

 

Join Performance Health & Fitness for an upcoming Wellness Workshop – a seminar focused on preparing you for popular summer activities that include overhead and swinging movements like as golf, pickleball, and tennis.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT
With spring and summer approaching, it’s time to hit the links… or the courts! Are you ready to play safely, confidently, and injury free?

 

Rotational sports like tennis, pickleball, and golf offer a unique demand on our balance, coordination, and strength.

 

Certified Personal Trainer, Mitchell Schumacher, who has over 20 years of tennis experience (and 7 years of tennis coaching experience) will teach you how to improve your rotational strength, which will translate to your game, as well as your everyday life.

 

REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is not required for this event. Please arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. to ensure time for check-in and completing proper guest waivers (if applicable). We will be asking participants to make a donation directly to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County in lieu of a class registration fee. Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been enriching children’s lives. We match and support youth in 1-to-1 relationships with caring adults to make a Big difference for them and for the community.

BONUS: Workshop attendees can utilize the Performance Kids Room free of charge from 5:30-6:30pm.
