Performance Pump n’ Row Challenge

2000m row for time followed by a 2 minute rest, then max bench press repetitions. Each successful bench press repetition completed deducts 10 seconds off your 2000m row time. Lowest calculated time wins.
Men: Bench press load
RX: 100% Bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Scaled: 50% of bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Senior (55+): 40% of bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Female: Bench press load
RX: 75% of bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Scaled: 50% of bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Senior (55+): 40% of bodyweight, rounded to the nearest 5LB increment
Validation
We encourage video proof of your completed challenge, but it’s not required. We will be on the honor system, and assume all participants will responsibly and honestly complete the challenge to their true capabilities.
Movement Standards
Bench press must begin no later than 2 minutes after rowing is completed.
The bar must make clear contact with the chest. Once contact has been made the athlete will then press the bar back to the starting position with the arms fully extended and the bar over the chest. Both hands must remain on the barbell during the entire set.
Prizes
Winners will receive an official “Pump-N-Row Challenge Winner” sticker and a free shake from the Performance Cafe.
