When David was 14, he tore his ACL and since there was no physical therapy in his area he found books on it and rehabilitated himself. From that point on, he knew that was the only career he ever wanted to pursue. He believes that if you place the well-being and concern of your patient/client as the focus of your treatment, everything else will take care of itself. In his free time, David enjoys attending his kids’ activities, helping coach their teams and doing almost every outdoor activity.

I love motivating participants during class and enjoy encouraging people to try new activities and achieve their goals. Working with kids has been a part of my life since I was 9 years old. I love watching them learn new skills, conquer their fears, and grow and progress daily. I love teaching both adults and kids, encouraging and motivating in every class! Outside the gym, I love reading, doing triathlons, running, tennis and spending time with my family.

He enjoys working one-on-one with patients to help them recover from their injuries and reach their goals. Jason looks at each patient as an individual so that their treatment is tailored to their specific needs and goals. In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with family friends and playing sports, especially basketball and golf.

He is also certified in ImPACT concussion testing as an ITAT. Evan thrives on interacting with other healthcare professionals, being around athletics and working with the human body. He lives by the mindset of being prepared and having good communication skills. In his free time, Evan likes to spend time with his family, barbeque, golf and watch football.

Molly received her bachelors degree from Wartburg College in 2000 and completed the physical therapy program at the University of Iowa in 2002. She is also an athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist. She is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. What Molly enjoys most about her job is teaching people how to take care of their bodies so they can recover from injury and stay pain free for years to come. When not at work Molly enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities and cooking.

On a personal level, Scott enjoys running, biking, golfing, swimming and spending time outdoors with his wife and children.

In his free time, Ross enjoys spending time with his friends and family, golfing, following Iowa athletics, and reading anything that involves training, rehab, and nutrition.

Seth worked as an athletic trainer for football at Kansas State University and in the high school setting locally prior to becoming a physical therapist. He enjoys identifying each person’s level of function and helping them to improve, while educating and empowering them with tools to continue to improve independently. He believes in getting to know each patient in order to treat the person as a whole rather than only focusing on injury or limitations. When not at work, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife Karissa and daughter Madelyn, hiking and mountain biking at the Coralville Reservoir, and doing projects around the house.

She received her Athletic Training degree from Iowa State University, Master’s in Sports Management from Northern Illinois University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa. Looking at the body as a whole, with a functional manual therapy approach, to improve function rather than isolated pieces is something she finds fascinating and continues to strive to further understand. Kirsten enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and keeping up with her two dogs.

Pat enjoys his interaction with patients and clients helping them return to their previous activity level. In college, he was a student athletic trainer confirming his interest in pursuing a career in rehabilitation, particularly orthopedics and sports medicine. In his free time, Pat enjoys exercising, spending time with family, watching movies, and camping.

Currently he is working on helping other professionals learn about techniques used for treatment of the cervical spine.

Jeff’s interest in strength and conditioning began following his freshman year of playing collegiate baseball when he started writing programs for him and his training partner. He enjoys training the physical as well as the mental side of speed and strength training to improve agility, confidence, in-game performance, and power while decreasing susceptibility to injury through proper technique. In his free time, Jeff enjoys playing golf, sand volleyball, slow pitch softball and reading.
